Deteriorating colour

Poor colour vision is usually congenital (eg red-green colour blindness )

Loss of previously normal colour vision in both eyes may be due to cataracts, and occasionally from the effects of drugs on the retina or optic nerve.

Unilateral deterioration in colour vision is seen in optic neuropathy.
